This Course serves as an Introduction to the Arabic Language. Students will cover essential concepts and principles, that will enable them form a framework which enables further study through the Foundation Level of the Arabic Diploma.

With support and advice from our experienced teachers of the Arabic language for non-natives, whom reside in Egypt, it was decided that before starting the Arabiyyah Beyna Yadayk series that an introduction with the book Al-Kitab al-Asasi would be more suited for beginners of the language; in order to support a balanced and steady approach that would not be too overwhelming. The course will cover an introduction to Arabic grammar (Nahw), an introduction to morphology (Sarf), nouns and nominal sentences, verbs and verbal sentences, and the opportunity to start building the student’s bank of vocabulary.

The journey of studying the Arabic language and seeking knowledge is a lifetime commitment. Here at Sirat Seminary we want to support you to get into good study habits and make studying Arabic a part of your daily lives. We hope to do this by sharing our own experiences and what works for us, and regularly advising and encouraging students to commit themselves and prioritise the language of the Quran.

If anyone has any learning support needs please do let us know and we will do our best to facilitate any requirements needed.
